The Kodály Music Education Institute of Australia (KMEIA or Kodály Australia) in the ACT is part of a vibrant and energetic group of committed teachers, tertiary educators, choral directors, musicians and students dedicated to excellence in music education for all Australian children. The 2022 Kodály Australia Conference Spring into Song: Sustaining the Vision invites music educators and the broader community to reflect on Kodály-inspired research and practice in the 21st Century. The conference will celebrate our diversity of culture and educational contexts as well as new growth and innovation, reimagining Kodály’s vision and its application in Australia today. The Kodály ACT Branch is proud to host the 2020 National Conference from 28 September – 1 October in Canberra at Canberra Girls Grammar School. With international and national presenters featured, we expect around 250 educators to attend from around Australia and the Asia Pacific, along with local teachers, educators and students. A number of local and interstate choirs will be performing throughout the conference and it is expected that this event will build on the success of previous National Conferences. Trade displays and static display space will be available in a central area of the venue. There are good opportunities available for both sponsorship and advertising and we are happy to discuss options for your involvement. The opportunities for your involvement are:
