Tobias Cole In his search for meaning in this technocratic materialist world, Tobias Cole uses his unique understanding of music and its resonant powers to create joyful, exhilarating and ultimately transcendental experiences with groups of people of all ages. He sees every rehearsal and every performance, whether as a conductor, singer, actor or MC, as an opportunity to remind people of their humanity and inspire them to tap their enormous potential. Performances for 2022 include singing the alto solos in CSO’s performances of Messiah, conceiving and performing Voices of London with his ensemble Transcendence at the National Portrait Gallery for the Shakespeare to Winehouse exhibition, recording The Changi Songbook (Flowers of Peace), and preparing choruses for Messiah (CSO), Barber of Seville (Opera Australia), Victory over the Sun (NGA with Sydney Chamber Opera), and POW Requiem (Llewellyn Hall).
